Being the mom to 3 boys, I have learned cleaning your house while your kids are still growing up is like shoveling the walk before it stops snowing.

Slumber Party

We had a family "party" night last night. We settled in for a Disney classic, "StarStruck" - ok maybe not so classic! We made milkshakes, ate popcorn, and played a few exciting games of Candyland and Sorry. Then it was off to bed for a slumber party in Mom and Dad's room. Everyone but Luke was tired - Luke refused to settle down. Finally at 11:30pm when Luke was still wide awake, I told him that if he didn't close his eyes, he was going to his room. He smiled great big and said, "Ok, lets go. I want to sleep in my bed." He is so funny.

Mark and the boys have spent the morning baking homemade donuts. Wow - this house is hard to live in when I'm eating low carb!

We are now under another winter storm watch until Monday. I'm really tired of the cold and snow! Can't hardly wait for spring and some warm sunshine on my face.

Protocol

I received my protocol yesterday. Our 7th IVF cycle now seems so official. I'm excited about getting this cycle started in less than a month!

Date Set

Ready, set, here we come IVF #7! My tenative ER date is April 8th! Here we go again! The boys and I are hoping foor twins - Mark is not so sure! Dominic would LOVE twin girls. He has requested that I only have girl babies in my tummy this time - that he just can't take anymore boys in this house. He is too funny!

Luke playing in the Snow

Luke is more cooperative with being a model....so there are naturally more pictures of him these days. He had a great time sledding on him tummy as well. Both boys love the snow - that is not something they get from me!

Luke is getting very good at making snow angels!

Ready, set, slide!

Dominic in the Snow

We spent the morning at a local park known for it huge sledding hills. This was our first adventure there today. We were lucky because all the big kids were still in school so we had the hills all to ourselves.
Here is Dominic trying to walk back up the hill. It was very slick and I had to walk around!

The boys actually had more fun sliding on their tummies. Which turned out to be an advantage for me as well - that meant no carrying the sleds back up the hill.

My Future Olypmian

Since we have going to the pool so much this year, I decided while Dominic was getting lessons I would swim laps again. I found some of my old stuff - that wasn't rotten. Luke decided he needed to try it on too. I think he looks like a future Olympian.....maybe see him in 2026?
