Being the mom to 3 boys, I have learned cleaning your house while your kids are still growing up is like shoveling the walk before it stops snowing.

Baseball 2013

Baseball season is in full "swing".   The boys are both doing wonderful.  The only reason people realize Luke is younger is because he is the one of the smallest boys on the team....has nothing to do with playing ability because he is definitely holding his own.  He nearly caught 2 pop ups the other night (ball bounced out of his glove) but then he did catch a hard hit line drive while he was playing 2nd base.  This did wonders for his confidence level.  Dominic continues to play heads up ball - hitting a fielding very well.  I don't think he will have any issues playing next year in 9-10yr league.  Dominic will be attending a baseball camp next week with the high school coach.

Baby and House Updates

I'm currently 31 weeks.  All is well with both baby and me.  I've reached the point in my pregnancy that I'm exhausted once again.  All I want to do sleep and seems like there isn't enough time to sleep like I want too!
We are scheduling the c-section soon.  If I would go into labor on my own before that date, I will have an emergency c-section.

We are trying to get things ready.  Having a garage sale in a couple of weeks will help clear out the downstairs bedroom.  We are going to visit Isaac's birth family soon too and after we get back, Isaac will move in with Luke and share the bunk bed (Luke on top of course).  Dominic will move back into his old room and the baby will share with us until we move.  So far the only person excited about this plan is Dominic.

The house...well we have a giant hole in the ground that unfortunately could be used as a swimming pool right now.  The cement could not be poured last week because the walls kept collapsing.  Once they finally got the walls supported, it started raining, and raining, and raining.  Wonderful.  I'm sure this is just going to be the first of many set-backs.

I'm still hopeful that we will be moving by Halloween.  Mark says Christmas.  I will be thrilled with anything before Thanksgiving.

Photo Bomb Update

This is going to be a photo bomb update of things that have been going on with us lately.

First up is Dominic's 1st Communion.  We had some professional pictures taken and some from the actual day.  While I was watching Dominic get this pictures taken, I nearly cried (thanks pregnancy hormones) because I blinked and this kiddo of mine grew up.  Gone is the baby, toddler, and little boy.  He is being replaced by a very handsome young man.

Dominic had his 2nd grade field day too.  He qualified for the finals in 4 out of 5 events and placed 2nd in the sack race!  Go Dominic!

Mother's Day was wonderful.  We went to the St. Louis Zoo with my sister and her family and our mom.  It was great weather wise so no complaints on the heat.

This are the types of group shots I get now....Isaac is now the kid that doesn't cooperate!

Isaac - 22M old

Luke - 6 yrs old

Dominic - 8 yrs old

Luke being disgusted by the stingray food!

We also visited Legoland in Kansas City one day the kids were off school.

Now its May!

I'm a terrible blogger.  That should just start every post!

April came and went so fast...all the kids are doing great.  Dominic and Luke are both working on loosing teeth, Luke is working on his 6 yr molars, and we are just waiting for Isaac's 2 yr molars to start peeking through.

Dominic - about to finish up 2nd grade.  Holy Cow....when did this kid grow up?  He has made his 1st Communion as well and we were super proud of him. He is turning into a young man right before our eyes.  He is loving the fact that baseball season has approached - both for himself and the Cardinals.

Luke - almost done with kindergarten.  He is doing very well but is counting down the days to summer vacation.  He wants to go water skiing so bad and hopes the weather gets much warmer very soon.  He is Dominic's baseball team this summer - something he is not too thrilled with but he can keep up with the older boys just fine.

Isaac-  still full of energy as always.  He has learned how to crawl out of his crib.  Not a feat I was hoping he would master anytime soon.  Luckily he only does this for nap time and not during the night.  He loves anything to do with balls, cars, trucks, or anything that Dominic and Luke tell him is off-limits.  He is a technology wiz - he can navagate around any iPod, iPad, phone, etc in a blink of an eye.  He is quickly learning shapes, colors, numbers, and letters from the apps on the iPad.

House update - there isn't one yet.  Still an empty lot thanks to all the rain and cold weather we have been having this spring.

Baby update - 28 weeks!!!  I have my glucose tolerance and rhogam shot tomorrow.  I'm hoping to get a more set c-section date so we can start planning on garage sales, moving stuff into storage, and getting ready for the baby to come home.
