An Early Merry Christmas

Seems like we have been so busy this December.  Dominic and Luke have started the wrestling season, Isaac is growing up too fast, and we have all have a run in with Influenza B in our house.  That was nasty.  So before things get too crazy this week, I will post a few pictures of our busy December.

It's December!

I can hardly believe the year is almost over and Christmas is just weeks away.  We visited with Santa already - yeah for no tears - and are looking forward to upcoming family activities.

Playing in the Leaves

The boys enjoyed playing in Grammy's back yard leaves.  Isaac did a great job not eating them!

Storage Limit

Well I just learned something new.  Apparently there is a storage limit for photos on blogs, etc.  I have reached my "free" limit.  I really don't want to pay for pictures on this site when I can post all I want for free on Facebook, etc.  So I think I'm going to have to just journal from now on.  This really stinks.  I will have to  do some more research on this subject to see what all my options consist of.

Happy Thanksgiving

We have so much to be thankful for - as always.  We have had a wonderful Thanksgiving celebration with family and friends all around.

Preparation

We have an exciting time in our family right now.  Dominic is in his preparations for making his first holy communion in the spring.  He will be making his first reconciliation very soon which means Mom and Dad get to set good examples by going to confession too.  Dominic says he is not nervous...just afraid he will talking to Father "all day" confessing his sins.  Dominic's aunt said to only concentrate on 2 things and call it good....sounds like great advice to me!

Dominic has been great at learning his prayers too.  Luke is really catching on as well so this time next year should be smooth sailing for Luke since he is hearing it all now.

Teeth...oh my!

Isaac is currently a slobber monster.  He is working on SIX teeth at once.  All 4 1 yr molars and 2 more on the bottom.  He wants to chew on everything.  I'm seriously considering those Chewie Stixx made for kids with oral fixation issues.

Isaac continues to scale tall buildings - well the kitchen table, the bookshelf, the crib, the art easel, etc.  He took a pretty good tumble off the kitchen table a few days ago - just out of my reach - but it didn't stop him even for a minute.

His vocabulary is increasing almost daily.  He loves to give high 5's, knuckles, blow kisses, zerberts, and practice his future wrestling moves on his big brothers.

Speaking of wrestling, the big boys get started very soon.  I'm not excited about the late nights with practice, but I'm looking forward to watching their talent grow and develop - plus being tired never hurts either!

Of course Dominic had multiple birthday celebrations again this year.  He wanted a Star Wars theme so I tried to make it easy on myself with light sabers!  Luke and Darth Vader of course.

Here is our little man at 15 months old.  Of course he is now 16 months old so I should really get some pictures of him this week!

November 2012 Update

Oh my Gosh...it is almost Thanksgiving.  I'm being a terrible blogger these days.  I guess I should just start doing a once per month update post.

So looking back:

We had a wonderful fall season.  The kids had a great time with craving pumpkins and Halloween.

Happy Fall

It has been so warm here the pat few days.  Our mums are gorgeous but with the warm weather are covered in bees which makes picture taking with the kids nearly impossible.  Today fall is literally "blowing" in with a strong cool wind.  So I'm hoping to get pictures of the kids with the flowers.

This weekend we are having celebration #1 for Dominic's birthday with my family.  Since the weather is turning, we will carve pumpkins inside this year.  Dominic wants a Star Wars themed cake too.  So I decided to be easy on myself and make a giant light saber out of cake.

The new house plans are pulling together nicely.  We have run into a few design issues that are being worked out - mainly with the layout of the kitchen, Dominic's bathroom, and Luke & Isaac's bathroom.  We are hoping to the have the design of the house completed by the end of the year.

Happy Birthday Babe!

We celebrated Mark's 45th birthday and Isaac's 15M birthday last week.  The boys were excited about Daddy's baseball cake!

Cardinal's Post Season Game

We had been trying to come up with a great birthday gift for Dominic.  Mark surprised us with tickets to the Cardinal's Post Game #3.  It was touch and go with the weather but the rain stayed away until half way through the 7th inning.  We choose not to wait out the 3.5 hour delay to watch the end of the game.  But we had a great time.

Isaac stayed home and had a great afternoon/evening with his cousin, Amanda.
