Being the mom to 3 boys, I have learned cleaning your house while your kids are still growing up is like shoveling the walk before it stops snowing.

As fall approaches...

Hard to believe school starts in t-minus 17 days.  The boys are not nearly as excited as I am!  We are still on the house hunt.  House hunting is now turning into house building.  For the life of me, I don't understand why people build houses with bedrooms spread all over the floor plan....its getting annoying.  I know once the house building project starts, we will be longing for it to be done but at least we will have what we want - mostly.

Dominic - a 2nd grader.  He is getting so tall.  He is up to my shoulders now - and we about wear the same size socks which makes sorting laundry harder these days.

Luke - a Kindergartner!  He is getting excited and nervous for school to start.  He is getting tall too - almost tall enough for the water slide at the pool.

Isaac - he is tall!  He had his one year well visit this week.  He is 31.5 inches and 24lbs 6 oz.  His feet are gigantic - nearly outgrowing a size 5 already.  Still not walking but shouldn't be long.  He takes steps when he wants too but still prefers crawling.  Isaac is still pacifier free and hopefully bottle free as of last night.  Of course he is still a cutie with a cloth bootie!

This fall we will be driving, and driving, and driving, and driving some more to Idaho.  Grandma is getting a very special award from Sinclair Oil as being an owner for 80 years!  We are attending and planning a trip through the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone on our way there.

Isaac and I are planning our time too for the fall.  I hope to get us to the pool for a Mommy and Me class and to the library for the toddler story time.  I also want to get some workout time during nap and finish Isaac's Life Book.

Luke would like to play soccer this fall - we will see.  Then wrestling starts at the beginning of December.  Wow - sounds like the year is already over!  It will go by fast...no doubt.
