Being the mom to 3 boys, I have learned cleaning your house while your kids are still growing up is like shoveling the walk before it stops snowing.

Sledding Fun

We built a snow ramp for the kids in the backyard.  It really helps them get going fast down the hill in our backyard.  Luckily, there is a big pile of snow from the plow at the bottom so they can't go on the road below.

Miss A's Snow Day

Miss A had her very first play day in the snow.  She really didn't know what to think of it.

This was Miss A's first impression of the snow!  Not a good start.
Miss A and I did get a great self photo today!  Our blue eyes sure are shining bright today.
Miss A hated her mittens of course.  Good thing it wasn't that cold today.  Here she was helping Mark shovel.
The boys are making an entire tunnel system through all the piles.  They have been warned not to play in them when we are not right there with them.
We still can't believe just how much snow we have.  We had not gotten the mail in nearly a week because the mailman couldn't get our box.  It took Mark almost 1 hour to dig the street out enough so the mailman would get us our mail today.
Our backyard is a giant hill.  It really isn't our yard - but the empty lots behind us.  Dominic and I built a snow ramp so they can sled without any help.

The Blizzard of 2011

We ended up with between15-20 inches of snow this past week.  Crazy!

Home Study Check

Our first home study visit was today.  It was just fine.  Our case worker is friendly and put us at ease quickly.  The boys behaved wonderfully during the 2 hour visit.  She is coming back for a follow-up next week.

Row, Row Your Boat

We spent MLK day with my sister and Little Miss A.  We were helping get things ready for Big B's arrival in a few weeks.  We had emptied out this tote and Luke and Miss A were "taking a ride".

Couldn't resist!

My sister gave me a heads up on a great website - www.preemiestore.com.  It is wonderful!  They have such a great price on the wubbanub pacifiers that I couldn't resist buying some.

Other news from us - the boys are having a snow day today.  We had a winter storm pass through last night so we have a new 4 inches of snow on the ground.

Mark and I are also trying to get re-motivated to get our housing painting project nearly done.  Our master bedroom is now painted and I ordered the new curtains for it today too.  We "might" try to get our bathroom done by the home study on the 29th - or not.  I told Mark that we might need a break until then so we can get all the painting supplies put away for a week or two then start up again and get this project complete.

Another Check!

Our first home study visit is Jan. 29.  We also have our living arrangements for this summer after the baby is out of the hospital!  Yeah for getting 2 more things checked off the list!
